Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Levelland, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The work consists of pedestrian and street infrastructure improvements in the downtown district, including sidewalk, curb and gutter, curb ramps, trench grates, utility adjustments, and related pavement repairs along 5th Street, Austin Avenue, and Avenue G. The specific items and quantities of work are: 979 linear feet of concrete sidewalk, 1,570 linear feet of concrete curb and gutter, 700 linear feet of sidewalk trench grates, 20 curb ramps, 165 square yards of brick paving units, 150 linear feet of concrete risers, miscellaneous utility adjustments, related paving repair, and all associated appurtenances. Bidders are required to submit a bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety, or a certified check, bank draft, or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds. The prevailing federal wage rate must be paid. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities. Bids may be held for up to 30/60 days for review and investigation of bidder qualifications. Contractors/subcontractors debarred or suspended from federal programs may not participate.
