Concrete Replacement South Plains College reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any, and all formalities. SCOPE OF WORK: South Plains College wishes to contract with a qualified contractor Remove and replace damaged concrete on the Levelland campus. The project consists of mainly sidewalks and entrances to buildings. There will be no grade changes and all concrete be replaced with 4000 lb. concrete. In all cases after damaged concrete removal, dowels will be inserted into remaining concrete before new concrete is replaced. There is one handicap ramp to be installed. Approximately 18,500 S.F. of Concrete. This project will be broken into two phases. The exact locations for each phase will be discussed during the pre-bid meeting. The contractor will be responsible for verifying all measurements of needed materials, identifying all necessary preparation work and hazards before bidding. The contractor will be responsible for providing a barrier of safety highly visible to the public that would prevent a reasonable person from entering into the area. The Contractor will removal all debris and disposal off-site as specified in Section 3.02.9 and 10. Contractor will be responsible for keeping the work site clear of all debris at the end of each day
