The work under this contract is for Grit Collector Chain and Bucket Replacement. All bids must be made on the forms provided and submitted in a sealed envelope addressed and marked for the contract. Bidders must state the price in words and figures for each item of the proposed work, sign the bid, and provide their business address and place of residence. A certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid, not to exceed $20,000.00, must accompany the bid as a guarantee that, if accepted, a contract will be entered into and performance will be properly secured. Bidders are required to comply with applicable chapters of the Public Laws and provide a listing of stockholders or partners owning ten percent (10%) or more interest. The authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality if it serves the interests of the authority.
