Sealed bids are solicited for the SCHMIDT'S WOODS PLAYGROUND EXPANSION in the Town of Secaucus, Hudson County, New Jersey. Bid forms, contracts, and specifications are available from Remington & Vernick Engineers, with arrangements for bid document acquisition to be made via phone or email. All bids must be submitted on the designated bid form, in sealed envelopes with the bidder's name and address and reference to the specific work on the outside. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid (not exceeding $20,000), and a certificate letter from a surety company guaranteeing a completion bond. Bidders must comply with requirements including Affirmative Action, New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Public Works Contractor Registration Act, disclosure of stockholders, and business registration for the bidder and subcontractors. Vendors currently suspended, debarred, or disqualified are excluded from participating. The contract award is subject to funding and applicable permitting.
