The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following. New roofing system means a new 3-ply, self-adhered, modified bituminous roof installed over new polyisocyanurate insulation sloped to drain. New roofing includes new accessory roof metal, including fascia, flashing. Replace any damaged gutters and downspouts. Existing roof curbs, vents and roof penetrations shall be altered or flashed to accommodate the new roofing system. 1. Corpus Christi DHQ Special Crews: The roof of the Special Crews has recently been repaired but continues to have issues with leaks. The roof area at the east end of the Special Crews office which was replaced recently with a PVC membrane will not be replaced. The remaining roof to be replaced consists of approximately 15,904 square feet and is divided in 4 levels and consists of modified bitumen 3- ply. The roof over the Special Crews office, radio shop and the high bay service station is concrete deck, 4" min. thick polyisocyanurate insulation, and 3-ply, selfadhered, modified bituminous roof. The roof over the equipment storage portion of the building (either side of the high bay service station) is metal deck, 4" min. thick polyisocyanurate insulation, and 3-ply, self-adhered, modified bituminous roof. Provide new roofing over the areas indicated. B. Perform Work of Contract under Lump Sum Total cost contract with Owner in accordance with Conditions of Contract.
