The project consists of improvements to the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway (GIWW) from Matagorda to Corpus Christi, specifically focusing on the Beneficial Use Site A (BUS A) in Calhoun County, Texas. The work includes dredging operations to maintain navigable depths within the waterway and transporting dredged material to the designated beneficial use placement area. Activities will involve excavation, material handling, and placement to enhance environmental and navigational benefits. The contractor will be responsible for all associated tasks, including mobilization, demobilization, and compliance with environmental and safety regulations throughout the project duration. Project Information: The scope of this contract includes construction of approximately 1,000 ft of rip-rap breakwater at BUS A placement area; (PA) clearing grubbing of adjacent upland PA 121 A, perimeter dike and Geotech boring investigations of PA 121 A (approximately 17 locations) and a survey of PA 121 A. Period of performance: Complete the entire Schedule 1 work ready for use not later than 100 calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the Notice to Proceed. In accordance with FAR 36/DFARs 236, the estimated construction price range for this project is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
