Proposals will be received for metal building and door repairs to hangar rows A and B meeting the specification of the RFP. Qualified metal building contractors are invited to present sealed bids for the scope of work in the RFP. The right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities is reserved. Any bid received after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids will not be considered. Bids will be required to remain open for acceptance or rejection for up to thirty (30) calendar days after the date of opening bids. 1. Provide and replace all wall panels including the end wall panels with 26ga R panels and new screws. Top of panel must be sealed with j channel or appropriate methods (blue to match corners on the new section of B row) 2. Provide and replace door panels with new 26ga. R panels and new screws (white to match corners on the new section of B row) 3. Provide and replace upper and lower rollers on all doors (repair roller mounts as necessary). 4. Repair lower and upper track, provide and replace as needed 5. Repair or provide and replace any sections of base angle, z-bar, c-channel or other red iron excessively bent or damaged. 6. Provide and replace eve and rake trim on all 4 sides (blue to match corners on the new section of B row) 7. Provide and replace corner trim, (blue to match corners on the new section of B row) 8. Paint exposed door end to match wall panel 9. Remove, provide, and replace door track foundation of the North end of B row and south end of A row, cut asphalt back and pour concrete to fill. Min 4000psi w/ fiber, 12 inch deep and 4 continuous lengthwise runs of #4 rebar suspended on rebar chairs. Rebar shall be placed 2 runs at approximately 2 inches from bottom and 2 runs approximately 2 inches from top of pour. Drilled and pinned to existing slab every 4 feet with #4 rebar 10. Provide and replace 3 people doors with 3 new (8 X 8) barrel doors to remain in the factory white color. 11. Provide and replace frame wrap on 1 existing and 3 new barrel door frames with matching blue trim and new J channel 12. Provide and replace all hangar door locks with heavy hasp welded to frame 13. Remove and stop brackets from inner hangar door to outer door junction, provide and replace with new ½” minimum diameter by approx. 20” drop bolt and new guides welded to inside door frame. Drill floor to match bolt. 14. Provide and replace closure strips at roof panel to eave trim. 15. Clean, provide, and replace grout any gap greater than ½ inch at concrete foundation to asphalt junction.
