The Town of Nanton (Town) is seeking interested parties to submit a Proposal for the provision of Services as set out in this Request for Proposal (RFP). It is the intent of this RFP process to identify and engage the best contractor and approach for this Dredging project. The Westview Meadows Wet Pond, located near 29 Avenue and Highway 533 West, was constructed in 2005 and has since accumulated approximately 20 years of sediment buildup resulting from algae die-off, as well as construction-related dirt and debris from surrounding developments. This project requires the development of a comprehensive plan that prioritizes environmental integrity, wildlife protection, and landscape preservation. Upon completion, the park area must be restored to its original condition—or improved beyond its previous state. A detailed sediment survey conducted by HydraSurvey in 2025 will be provided as an attachment to this RFP.
