Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Orchard Park, New York. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel.
The project involves providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in the specifications. The work includes, but is not limited to: removal of an existing 32 ft long by 14 ft wide by 7 ft tall concrete culvert, placement of a new 31 ft. 10 in. wide by 24 ft span by 7 ft. tall precast concrete three-sided frame on cast-in-place concrete spread footings, sanitary sewer replacement, heavy-stone fill placement, approach work, and guiderail installation. The proposed work will be performed while traffic is maintained via an offsite detour. The project is governed by BridgeNY and NYSDOT Standard Specifications. Bid documents are available for pick up at the Town of Orchard Park Municipal Building.
