The funding will be used by the yurok tribe to install 8,500 lf of water mains, 750 lf of water service lines, and approximately 2,000 lf of transmission main. Flow meters, hydrants, and assorted valving installation will accompany these water lines. In addition, a 60,000-gallon bolted steel water tank, a roughing filter, a slow sand filter building, a chemical treatment and monitoring building, and backup generator power for these facilities will be constructed.
