The purpose is to secure services for construction survey and staking on various road projects. Services include providing trained, experienced, qualified personnel for construction surveying and staking for the duration of specified projects. Work may include staking project limits, slope stakes and key stakes, drainage staking, red tops/blue tops, curb and gutter staking, bridge and retaining wall staking, as-built surveying, and quantity surveying/calculations. Additional work may include performing topographic surveys and drone-based aerial photography as needed, and other surveying/staking needs as identified by the Engineer. The surveyor should anticipate working in construction environments, potentially from a field trailer or pickup truck based at the assigned construction site, and must be capable of various physical tasks and tolerating environmental exposures such as weather and heavy equipment. Night, evening, and weekend hours may be required. Projects include road and roundabout construction, roadway improvements, and pavement preservation with specific locations and scopes detailed. Contractors must submit proposals by the specified deadline with the subject line clearly marked as 2026 Construction Survey and Staking. Late submittals will not be considered. Submission of a proposal indicates acceptance of the conditions unless otherwise noted and confirmed in the contract.
