Rebid date is on 01/15/2026 at 12:00 PM Separate sealed bids are requested for the rehabilitation of the former EMS building for use as the Town-owned Gaston Community Center. All federal CDBG requirements apply to the contract. Bidders are required to comply with Section 109 and E.O. 11246 prohibiting discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex, or national origin. Compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Anti-Kickback Act, E-Verify Regulations, and Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act is mandatory. Small, minority, and/or women-owned, Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB), and Section 3 businesses are encouraged to submit bids. Bidders must not be debarred from receiving state or federal contracts. The Town reserves the right to waive any informalities or reject any or all bids.
