The Electric Division of Bowling Green Municipal requests sealed bids on overhead and pad mount transformers. Bidders may submit new and certified remanufactured transformers. The bidder shall include in their bid all listed equipment. Bid prices shall include all freight and delivery costs to 150 East Main Street Bowling Green, Kentucky 42101. Bids must be received at Bowling Green Municipal Utilities, 801 Center Street, Bowling Green, Kentucky 42101 by 2:00 p.m. local time on January 13, 2026, at which time they will be opened and read aloud. Any bid received at the designated location after the required time and date specified for receipt shall be considered late and non-responsive and will not be evaluated for award. Faxed or emailed responses will not be evaluated for award. All bidders are welcome to attend. Please mark bid envelope “BIDRFB# 2025-47 – OVERHEAD AND PAD MOUNT TRANSFORMERS” prior to the date and time listed above. The envelope should be placed in another envelope or package to ensure against premature opening. The envelope should bear on the outside the name of the bidder and their address. Bid documents can be obtained by emailing kwilliams@bgmu.com. Include the bid RFB# in the subject line.
