Description

Renovation of a parking garage in Huntington, West Virginia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.

The City seeks qualified vendors to conduct professional architectural/engineering services for the structural inspection of the Huntington Municipal Parking Garage at 701 3rd Avenue. The work includes a parking deck assessment, mechanical inspection of two elevators, and providing recommendations for repair/upgrade of the deck, elevators, and associated equipment. The selected vendor will also provide construction/contract administration for any needed repairs. Submissions must demonstrate technical expertise, management and staff capacity to provide all significant parts of the services and design criteria, and related prior experience. Submissions should include: - Experience in and/or understanding of the local and/or West Virginia construction market capabilities and cost. - Demonstration that the firm's location allows services to be conveniently available from the development phase through construction contract administration. - Specific identification of the project team and their individual project experience. - Specific experience in providing structural deck assessment and mechanical review for elevators for similar-sized and complex projects. - At least three references from organizations for which the firm and project team have provided similar services in the past three years.
