The Hershel Woody Williams VA Medical Center requires a contractor to replace the factory controls on the fan coil unit (FCU) serving the MRI area with a new controller and zone sensor. The contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and supervision necessary to complete the work. Tasks include replacing the FCU controls, mapping the new controller to the existing Metasys system, creating alarm and trend extensions, and developing user views for customer navigation. All services must be completed within 14 days of contract award and performed during normal business hours (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM). The contractor must coordinate deliveries to minimize traffic disruptions and use approved entry points. All work must comply with VA standards, OSHA guidelines, and site-specific regulations including parking, traffic, and smoking policies. Contractor personnel must wear VA-issued identification badges while on site and return them upon completion of the work. No VA sensitive information will be handled, and no security accreditation is required.
