RFP - Engineering Services Please review the request carefully for deadlines and requirements. Region 2 Planning and Development Council (Region 2) is seeking a qualified engineering firm to evaluate excess water and wastewater capacity for potential future development sites, and accumulate and convert utility line data into digital maps using GIS software in Logan and Mingo counties in West Virginia. Accurate knowledge of the available capacity of water and wastewater treatment facilities to serve potential development sites is a critical, yet frequently overlooked, factor in site selection analyses and an essential resource for local economic development authorities. The digital mapping of existing utility lines will provide increased efficiency for field crews to collect and analyze data, improve workflow by eliminating outdated paper forms and maps, and provide a better way to share necessary information across silos.
