The Rainsville Housing Authority invites bids for sidewalk revision at Henagar Housing Authority at the main office of the Top of Alabama Regional Housing Authority. Bids will be received at 293 Denson Avenue Boaz, AL 35957 until 2:00 p.m., C.S.T. on January 29, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. A pre-bid conference will be held on January 15, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., C.S.T. at the main office of the Top of Alabama Regional Housing Authority. The purpose of the conference is to answer questions relating to the Contract Documents. Attendance is strongly advised but not mandatory. Copies of the documents may be obtained from the Architect by depositing $150.00 per set, including a non-refundable handling fee of $50.00. Contract Documents are on file at the office of Patricia E. Sherman, Architect, 307 Wall Street, Gadsden, Alabama 35904. Complete Invitation and requirements can be emailed upon request. Question Deadline 01/22/2026 Any prospective bidder desiring an explanation or interpretation of the solicitation, specifications, drawings, etc., must request it at least 7 days before the scheduled time for bid opening. Requests may be oral or written. Oral requests must be confirmed in writing Work covered by Contract Documents for new ramps, step systems and walk including handrails at Henagar, for the Henagar Housing Authority, Henagar, Alabama *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Estimated cost, $75,000-$80,000.
