York Region District School Board and York Catholic District School Board are seeking proposals for Fire Equipment Inspections & Service. The objective is to establish a contractual relationship with a vendor or vendors for fire equipment inspections and services on an as-required basis. This relationship is intended to ensure quality service at a competitive price, improve management reporting, and reduce material and administrative costs. The Boards spend estimated annual amounts for various fire equipment services, including fire extinguisher services, fire hydrant services, spark arrest, and kitchen hood suppression. There are approximately 335 locations throughout York Region. Proponents are invited to propose the lowest net prices, including all delivery charges, for which they are prepared to provide the requested services, in accordance with the guidelines expressed in the enclosed document. A list of actual locations and addresses will be provided to the successful vendor by each Board.
