The Town invites Bids from Bidders for the supply of all labour, material, and equipment necessary for the road surface rehabilitation on specified roadway segments, including Temperance Street, Wells Street, Goulding Avenue, and Eric T Smith Way. Provisional work items may include John West Way and George Street, awarded at the Town's discretion. The scope of work includes catch basin, maintenance hole, and valve chamber reconstruction works (replacement of frames and covers, grates, and adjustment units) and associated restorations; localized curb and gutter replacement works and associated restorations; localized sidewalk, multi-use path, walkway, driveway, hardscape boulevard, traffic island, and kill strip reconstruction works and associated restorations; roadway asphalt pavement milling; roadway base asphalt repairs; roadway surface asphalt paving works; roadway line and pavement markings painting; and all other work related to roadway surface rehabilitation. No construction drawings will be provided for the mandatory work items. Upon project commencement, the Contract Administrator will provide further instructions on-site regarding project limits and areas to be rehabilitated or reconstructed. Additional documentation may be provided through Addenda, which will form part of the contract documents. Bidders should structure their submissions in accordance with instructions, obtain the RFT only through the Town's electronic bidding system, and ensure all Bids are in English. Bidders are responsible for reviewing all documents, seeking clarification via the online bidding system, and bearing all preparation costs. Electronic bid submission is required, and late Bids will not be accepted. Amendments or withdrawals prior to the RFT Closing Date are allowed through the system. All provisions of the RFT are deemed accepted by Bid submission and incorporated into the Bid. Bidders must list senior staff and demonstrate relevant experience, complete required schedules, provide references, and identify all Sub-contractors. The Town reserves the right to approve or reject Sub-contractors and to seek clarification or supplementary information from Bidders after the submission deadline.
