Renovation of a fire / police facility in Hillsboro, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Swinerton is requesting bids from interested and qualified trade partners for the for the structural steel and bidder-designed fall protection packages in the above mentioned project. The structural steel package will include all structural steel, steel stairs and guardrails, BRB's, and building & site miscellaneous metals. All bids shall be based on all documents found in the files tab in Building Connected. Please be sure to review the Swinerton Standard Documents and incorporate anything that applies to your scope of work into your proposal. All trade partners must be prequalified with Swinerton prior to commencing any work. The proposed structure consists of mass timber construction utilizing Structural steel for the lateral system. The building will have an automatic Sprinkler system throughout with mixed occupancies. The facility will have a Community room, open offices and private offices for police department staff, Evidence storage and work area, lock-up facility, sallyport, locker rooms, and a Fitness room. This project COBID (MWSBE) participation goals is 30%. We strongly encourage all MWSBE trade partners that are COBID-certified to submit on this project. We also strongly encourage all non MWSBE trade partners to seek for ways to use MWSBE suppliers and/or labor companies in support of meeting these goals.
