Heading & Cortland Ave: $142,000.00 Manor Parkway: $200,000.00 Proposals are requested for the Heading Ave and Cortland Ave Sidewalk Project and Manor Parkway Sidewalk Project (TIF project). Bid documents can be examined and obtained at the Office of the City Clerk or by email request, specifying the project name, company name, email address, and phone number. No documents will be sent by mail or facsimile. Sealed bids must be submitted to the specified address during normal business hours. Each bid must include a Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, cashier's or certified check, or a money order payable to the City of West Peoria, guaranteeing that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will provide the appropriate Certificate(s) of Insurance, required Performance Security, and execute the Agreement within the specified periods. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any formality, irregularity, or technicality if deemed in the best interest of the City. The proposed work, officially known as the SSA 2026-01, Heading and Cortland Ave. Sidewalk Project, is for the replacement of the sidewalks on the south side of the street between Ashland Avenue and Cortland Avenue. The project will start at the southwest corner of 2726 W. Heading Ave. on Ashland Ave., wrapping around Heading Ave., traveling east on the south side of the street until Cortland Ave., approximately 355 feet, turning onto Cortland Ave. On Cortland Ave, the sidewalks will be replaced on the west side of the street from Heading Ave. to the south corner of the property located at 905 N. Cortland Ave., and tying into the existing sidewalks from Laura Ave. The project includes 2 ADA ramps: the corner of Heading Ave. and Ashland Ave., and at Heading Ave. and Cortland Ave. The contractor must also include a five-foot (5) adjustment for the drive approaches at the current width per drive and walk.
