Description

Demolition and renovation of a mixed-use development in Aurora, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library; educational facility; and educational facility.

The project is for major renovation of the interior of Waubonsie Valley High School, including the cafeteria, atrium, classroom spaces, library, and overall MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems. The work is divided into 18 bid packages consisting of Demolition, Concrete, Masonry, Steel, General Trades, Roofing, Aluminum/Glazing, Drywall, Spray Fireproofing, Ceilings, Carpet/Resilient Floor, Tiling, Painting, Casework, Fire Protection, Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical. All bids must be accompanied by a Cashier's Check or Bid Bond of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the Base Bid made payable to Indian Prairie School District 204. Contractors must guarantee their submitted Bid Proposal for a ninety (90) day period from the bid opening date. Compliance with Prevailing Wages for Cook County and all equal employment practices is required.
