Renovation of a recreation facility in Milpitas, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a recreation facility.

Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to paint the entire exterior of the Milpitas Sports Center Building and the Reservoir Water Tower located behind the building. The contractor shall seal visible cracks, prepare work and sanding as needed on metal surfaces, and power wash. Waterproof elastomeric exterior paint must be used. Composite (non-wooden) planks shall be installed on certain façade areas as identified. New Milpitas Sports Center signage is to be installed in two specified areas. Only exterior painting is included; no interior work is part of this contract. The minimum qualification required is a valid Class B General Contractor License. All work must be completed within 180 days of the contract start date. Question Submission Deadline:January 22, 2026, 12:00pm: Questions sent directly to City Staff will not be addressed, and you will be directed to submit your question(s) online. Bids must be submitted electronically via the specified portal. Bidders must download and review all bid documents, submit bids on the Citys bid forms, and monitor the portal for addenda or updates. Performance and payment bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract, are required. Contractors and all subcontractors must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations and comply with prevailing wage requirements. Failure to meet these requirements may result in bid rejection.
