Sealed bids are requested for construction of Alterations to Donegal Primary School, 1055 Koser Road, Mount Joy, Pennsylvania 17552. Separate, sealed bids will be received for the following Prime Contracts: General Construction, Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning Construction, Plumbing Construction, and Electrical Construction. Bidders must obtain bidding documents through the PennBid website. Each bid must include a bid security equal to ten percent (10%) of the Base Bid amount and all alternate bid amounts in the form of a Bid Bond. Successful bidders must provide a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount, with satisfactory corporate surety. Bids may not be modified, withdrawn, or cancelled for sixty (60) calendar days following the bid opening, except as provided by state law. The School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities, and award any combination of alternates or none as deemed in its best interests. The project is subject to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Labor and Industry's Prevailing Wage Pre-Determination.
