Renovation of a library in Cliffside Park, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 3,745-square-foot library.

Separate sealed bids for the general contract for the Cliffside Park Temporary Library are required, including all work incidental to the Temporary Library and as specified in the Project Manual. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope labeled accordingly. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The Owner may reject all bids or any non-responsive or non-responsible bids. Bids must be accompanied by a guarantee of 10% of the bid (not exceeding $20,000) in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond, along with a consent of surety. The successful bidder must provide acceptable performance and labor and material payment bonds. Bidders must be authorized to do business in New Jersey, registered with the Department of Labor, and comply with various requirements related to business registration, non-discrimination, affirmative actions, corporate ownership statement, and disclosures regarding Russia-Belarus and Iran investment activities. Documentation related to the contract must be maintained for five years from final payment and made available to the New Jersey Office of the State Comptroller upon request. Payroll certification for public work projects must be completed online at the specified website, and certified payrolls must also be provided in hard copy. All questions regarding the project should be directed to the Architect and received in writing only via email to: office@aiarchs.com.
