The work consists of HMA paving on various county roadways, layout, traffic control, cleanup, and associated work. Bidders must submit proposals on the forms provided in the contract documents and include a cashier's or certified check, or a bidder's bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid. The contractor awarded the work must furnish a Performance, Maintenance, and Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent of the contract. Bidders must be INDOT prequalified in B(a) Asphalt Paving with a Certified Asphalt Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) Plant. Monthly partial payments will be made based on approved payment requisitions. The contractor and subcontractors must comply with required Federal and State labor regulations, including Equal Employment Opportunity, Non-segregated Facilities, and Affirmative Action requirements. Minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against based on race, color, or national origin.
