Renovation of a golf course in Janesville, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a golf course.
The City of Janesville Parks Division is seeking Requests for Proposals (RFP) from qualified vendors to rebuild and upgrade the existing fairway bunkers at Riverside Golf Course. Question Deadline 01/05/2026 at 4:30 PM CT For further information regarding this RFP, contact Parks Director Cullen Slapak at slapakc@ci.janesville.wi.us. The scope of work is as follows: Renovation of five (5) bunkers, approximately 11,700 square feet. Reduce the size of three (3) bunkers. Reduction will result in approximately 7,000 square feet of sand bunkers remaining. Reduce/reshape one (1) bunker approximately 3,000 square feet. Complete fill, topsoil, grading, and final seed and matting of old bunker areas, approximately 8,500 square feet. Due to the current depth of bunkers to be renovated, approximately two feet (2') of clay fill will need to be added to the bunker floor for drainage purposes. The City will provide material to the site. Installation of 4 N-12 perforated pipe in the bunker floor (city will provide pea gravel to the site), along with drain pipe and emitter. Install 5 of bunker sand, supplied to the site by the City. The City and KS staff intends to fill in four (4) sand bunkers, approximately, 11,500 square feet, during the winter/early spring. The contractor will provide final grading and seed/matting of these areas
