Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Janesville, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; for paving for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The Project includes reconstruction of streets, utilities (water main, storm sewer, and sanitary sewer) and associated items in the Downtown Utility & Roadway Reconstruction Project area which includes Trowbridge St. (Walnut to Locust), Walnut St (Hubbard to Trowbridge) and Chestnut St (Hubbard to Trowbridge). The Alternate Project includes reconstruction of the watermain along Grand St from River St to Main St upgrading the existing watermain to 8-inch ductile iron pipe. Water services, roadway, curb & gutter, and sidewalk will be replaced that are incidental to the watermain replacement work. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. All other inquiries shall be directed to Abonmarche Consultants, Inc., attn.: George Waring, PE via email: gwaring@abonmarche.com. Questions must be entitled: "Downtown Utility & Roadway Reconstruction Project - RFI." The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities, and further reserves the right to accept any bid or parts of bids which it deems to best serve the interest of the City. No bids may be withdrawn for at least 90 days.
