The City of Janesville, Wisconsin hereby gives notice that it will receive electronic bids for the following listed Public Work: C2026-6 Street Rehabilitation - For furnishing all the labor, materials, equipment, and doing all the work necessary for the construction and completion of approximately 32,985 TONS asphalt paving on existing streets, including 127,480 SY milling; 51,725 SY pavement removal; 35,850 CY unclassified excavation; 73,950 TONS aggregate base; 72,200 LF epoxy pavement markings; 4,725 SY grass terrace restoration and miscellaneous construction items to resurface or reconstruct various City streets. Quest Project Number 10053917 C2026-9 Dawson Softball Complex Improvements - For furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and performing all work necessary for the construction of the following approximate quantities: New field lighting system, new irrigation system, 1,105 LF of 8" HDPE storm sewer, 30,220 SF of 6-inch concrete pavement, 912 LF of infield curb, 1,250 tons of fine gradation aggregate, 786 LF of 10-foot tall chain link fence, 134 LF of 24-foot tall chain link fence (Back Stop), dugouts, canopy netting system, excavation common and grading, erosion control, and non-paved surface restoration. The Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids. No bid will be considered unless accompanied by a certified check equal to 10 percent of the bid or a bid bond in equal amount, payable to the City as guaranty that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and performance bond within ten days from the date the lowest responsible bidder's bid is accepted. In case the bidder fails to execute such contract and performance bond within the time set by the City, the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages. If applicable, Federal Davis-Bacon wage rates are included in the Contract Documents, as well as on file in the City Clerk's Office. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 45 days after the actual date of the bid opening.
