Installation of a new diesel- fueled generator and automatic transfer switch (ATS) at two (2) plants: Plant 3 and Plant 8. More specifically, the work includes, but is not limited to, construction of the following: a. Plant 3 i. The installation of a new diesel-fuel generator with a sound-attenuating enclosure, the concrete generator pad, generator platform, and grading of the existing site. ii. The installation of a new ATS. iii. The installation of a load bank for the generator. iv. The modification to the existing electrical system for the generator and ATS installation. v. Modifications to the EST electrical system to feed the existing EST from the pump station service for generator backup. vi. Site improvementsto support items above including yard piping, paving, and grading. vii. Site electrical improvements to support items above including duct banks, mini power center. b. Plant 8 i. The installation of a new ATS, Switchboard, and Main Breaker. iii. The modification to the existing electrical system for the switchboard, main breaker, generator, and ATS installation. iv.
