Reference Number 0000406680 The City of Seguin is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors for a minor interior renovation project at the Citys Public Works Warehouse located at 816 Fred Byrd Dr., Seguin, Texas. This project will be awarded on a lump sum basis to the responsive and responsible bidder whose bid represents the best value to the City, considering price, compliance with specifications, and bidder qualifications. All labor and materials shall include a minimum one-year warranty, along with all applicable manufacturer warranties. The scope includes, but is not limited to, the following: A. Flooring All existing tile flooring in the bathrooms shall remain. Removal and replacement of flooring in all other designated areas as shown in plans or identified during the site visit. Remove and replace all baseboards throughout the project area. Install code-compliant base throughout the entire area. C. HVAC Replace existing HVAC unit(s) serving the project area with a comparable, codecompliant system. Replace all associated supply and return components, including ductwork as required. Repair or replace any torn or damaged HVAC-related areas, including ceilings or finishes impacted by the work. Electrical and plumbing modifications as required to support the renovation. Site protection, daily cleanup, and debris disposal. Compliance with all applicable building codes and regulations. Coordination with City staff to minimize disruption to operations.
