Site work for a communication facility in Rochester, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a communication facility.
The Town of Rochester, MA invites sealed proposals from qualified firms for the Fiber Loop Construction & IT Improvements Project. Proposals must conform to all relevant statutes and regulations of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Proposals should be clearly marked on the exterior envelope as "Fiber Loop Construction & IT Improvements" and submitted to the Town Administrator's Office. Price proposals must be enclosed in a separate sealed envelope within the proposal envelope and marked as directed. Wages for the project are subject to minimum rates determined by the Massachusetts Department of Labor and Industries, and bidders must pay any updated prevailing wage schedule rates. The successful bidder must provide a Certificate of Insurance with the required coverage and furnish a Payment Bond in the amount of 50% of the contract total. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive minor defects, informalities, or irregularities, and to award contracts or cancel the RFP in the Town's best interest. Contract Awarded: Within thirty (30) days after proposals are opened or longer as agreed to by Town and successful proposer. A pre-proposal conference will not be held, but questions may be sent to the Town Administrator, Cameron Durant, via email to cdurant@townofrochester.com. All questions must be submitted at no later than Thursday, January 8, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.
