The project proposes to demolish the existing Watmaugh Road Bridge over Sonoma Creek, preserve the existing truss panels, construct the new bridge and roadway approaches, including drainage improvements, hot mix asphalt concrete paving, driveway reconstruction, and restore and mount the original truss panels to the new bridge Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting Date/Location: The mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the proposed bridge site on February 17, 2026 at 1:00 PM and on February 24, 2026 at 2:00 pm. Question Deadline 02/28/2026 Technical questions should be emailed to Samuel Baumgardner-Kranz at spi-bid-inquiries@sonomacounty.gov Questions will not be accepted by phone. Written answers will be shared with all potential bidders through an addendum Project Location: The project site is located on Watmaugh Road over Sonoma Creek, approximately 0.28 miles west of Highway 12.
