Anolick, Project Manager at danolick@emmetcounty.org The purpose of this request is to invite prospective vendors to submit a proposal to supply Emmet County with wallpaper removal and painting services as described below and in the attached documents. The Vendor shall provide the following related to this particular RFP A. The contractor is responsible for removing all existing vinyl wall coverings (i.e. wallpaper) within the designated work area, including properly disposal off-site. The contractor must patch and repair all wall surfaces as required to ensure they are suitable to receive new painted finishes in accordance with the specifications. B. Refer to Exhibit A for detailed painting specifications. All finish colors must match existing colors. Samples of all paint finishes and colors shall be submitted to the County for approval. C. Refer to Exhibit B for the main terminal plan, which highlights in orange the walls, ceilings, and soffit areas to be painted on both floors. Note There is no floor plan for the General Aviation (GA) facility. The entire one-level GA building interior shall be painted. This scope will be reviewed during the mandatory walk-through on January 16. D. A detailed proposal must be submitted with pricing itemized separately for: o Main terminal - Ground Floor o Main terminal - Second Floor o GA (General Aviation) Building - Complete Interior E. Alternate: The GA building airfield-side vestibule wall and ceiling repairs and painting must be priced as a separate line item. This scope will also be covered during the walk-through. F. Refer to Exhibit C for reference photos of the GA (General Aviation) Building. G. Refer to Exhibit D for reference photos of the Main Terminal Building. H. Pricing shall include all labor required to move furniture in occupied areas to access walls. I. The contractor must provide one gallon of each paint color for touch-up attic stock.
