The work to be performed under this project consists of providing the labor, equipment, and materials and ancillary construction to access and construct the Geosynthetic Clay Liner (GCL) in the Oxford Rubbish Landfill as shown on the Drawings. B. A GCL shall be used to construct the low-permeability layer. For questions regarding the technical specifications, please contact Mark Levy at (662) 236-1206 or mlevy@oxfordms.net The Department of Environmental Services for the City is seeking bids from qualified contractors for the installation of approximately 153,750 sq ft of geosynthetic clay liner (GCL) and associated protective soils to line approximately 2.6 acres of an existing rubbish site cell. Proposers should download and review plans and specifications through the City's bid portal to be added to the planholders list. Proposals may be submitted via hand-delivery, US Mail, or electronic submission. All proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check not less than 5% of the total contract amount. The project will be awarded based on the best-qualified bid and is subject to the approval by the Mayor and Board of Aldermen. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any and all informalities. All proposals submitted in response are considered "competitive sealed proposals."
