PACKETS may be submitted in person or by mail and done so in a sealed envelope or package and labeled with the company name, solicitation number, and title. PACKETS will be received by the City of Carrollton at the address listed on the SHIP TO INFORMATION section below. Late packets will not be accepted. CSP # 26 - 013, Carrollton Black Cemetery aka Carrollton Community Cemetery Parking and Sidewalk City of Carrollton Purchasing Carrollton City Hall Building 1945 E. Jackson Road Carrollton, Texas 75006-1790 This project is to establish a parking area for visitors to the Carrollton Black Cemetery aka Carrollton Community Cemetery and a sidewalk from the parking area to the cemetery and is not to exceed $160,000.00. This will remove and abate code violations at this location where visitors park on the unimproved surface creating ruts in the grass and creating issues for property maintenance. *Installation of a concrete parking area for five (5) head in parking spaces of which one will be a dedicated handicap parking space. *Installation of parking surface will be at ground level. *Each parking space will also have installation of a concrete parking stop. *Installation of a concrete sidewalk area at ground level running from the parking area/fire lane easement to the concrete step entryway of the cemetery. *Excavation of soil for the parking area and sidewalk to be performed to insure both areas when completed are flush at ground level. Concrete parking area and concrete walkway must be designed and constructed in accordance to the City of Carrollton Design Standards Deliverables & Specifications: *Installation of a concrete parking surface of 1100 square feet. Dimensions for the parking area are fifty-five (55') feet in width and twenty (20') feet in depth. *Four (4) parking stalls each have dimensions of nine (9') feet in width and twenty (20') feet in depth. *One (1) handicap van accessible parking stall with a dimension of elven (11') feet in width, and twenty (20') feet in depth, with an additional eight (8') feet wide access aisle. *Five (5) parking stops for each parking space. *Parking area properly striped and marked for each parking stall. *Parking area will be constructed in the following manner: 1. Concrete of five (5") inches in thickness. 2. Concrete at 3000 psi. 3. With #3 rebar at 18" O.C. *Excavation of soil from parking area to depth needed for parking area to be level with surrounding unimproved, grass area. *Parking area to be tied into the adjoining fire lane. *Sidewalk construction located from fire lane at north end of new parking area to concrete steps to the cemetery. Measurement of the sidewalk is five (5') in width, for a length of approximately 100' feet. *Sidewalk will be constructed in the following manner: 1. Concrete of five (5") inches in thickness. 2. Concrete at 3000 psi. 3. With #4 rebar at 18" O.C. *Excavation of soil from sidewalk area to a depth needed for the sidewalk to be flush with the surrounding unimproved grass surface area.
