Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Carrollton, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Improvement limits are within the Whitlock Addition subdivision in the City of Carrollton. Improvement streets include E Russell Avenue, Norris Street, Ryan Avenue, Homer Street, associated alleys, and parking lot improvements at WJ Thomas Park. The project consists of barricades and traffic control, removal, disposal, and replacement of approximately 22,000 square yards of street pavement, construction of approximately 5,000 SY of sidewalks, water and sewer adjustments, and 2,000 LF of storm pipe. Question Deadline 02/04/2026 at 5:00 PM CT Questions may be submitted via online. An Addendum addressing the questions received will be issued no later than Friday, February 6, 2026 at 11:00 AM This project will generally include all construction, labor, materials, testing, services, administration, and associated activities required in conjunction with or properly incidental necessary for the following: 1. Improvement limits are within the Whitlock Addition subdivision in the City of Carrollton. Improvements streets include Noble Avenue, E Alan Avenue, Norris Street, Homer Street, Faye Avenue, and associated alleys. 2. Replacement of existing 16,000 SY of street pavement 3. Construction of approximately 37,000 SF of sidewalks. 4. Construction of approximately 475 SF of retaining wall. 5. Construction of 531 LF of storm pipe. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and generally consists of but not limited to the following: 1. Demolition existing road pavement in the project scope. 2. Replacement of existing neighborhood roadway including pavement, curb in the project scope. 3. Construction of approximately 37,000 SF of sidewalk, pedestrian ramps shall be in accordance with the City of Carrollton General Design Standard and the Texas Accessibility Standards. 4. No irrigation design will be included in the project. 5. Replacement of existing street pavement striping and signs. All pavement striping and signs shall be in accordance with the City of Carrollton General Design Standard. 6. Protect existing residence retaining walls and fences. 7. Earthwork to include clearing & grubbing. 8. Various site and infrastructure improvements and restoration incidental to primary project construction. 9. Traffic control 10. Erosion control 11. Tree removal
