The project consists of the renovation and reconfiguration of the Reception Area, including selective demolition as shown in the plans; replacement of the ceiling grid system, ceiling tiles, and interior lighting; and preparation and painting of interior walls in offices and other areas. The work also includes protection of existing office furniture, equipment, fixtures, files, and related items throughout construction, with temporary relocation as required. Electrical modifications and additions will be performed to support new workstations, offices, and other areas, along with adjustments to existing HVAC ductwork to accommodate the new ceiling grid and lighting layout. In addition, the contractor shall develop and implement a comprehensive construction phasing plan and schedule, coordinating with City staff and vendors to maintain ongoing operations during the construction period.
