Demolition and site work for a mixed-use development in Oswego, New York. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 103,700-square-foot, three-story above grade educational facility.

The State University Construction Fund (SUCF) is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from consultants to provide design and construction administration services for the Demolish Mackin Complex project at the State University of New York at Oswego. The Mackin Complex, constructed in 1951, is a 103,700 GSF, three-story facility comprised of three connected buildings: Mackin Dining Hall (42,000 GSF), Lonis Hall (32,300 GSF), and Moreland Hall (29,400 GSF). These buildings are decommissioned or largely unused, with aging infrastructure and building systems at the end of their useful life. The project will demolish approximately 103,700 GSF of existing space and restore the site for greenspace or future use. Scope includes full demolition of structures, removal of foundations, and termination and capping of utility services (water, sewer, steam, electrical, communications, fire alarm, gas). Utility connections to adjacent buildings will be maintained or reestablished. The estimated construction value is approximately $8,297,000. Consultants are required to register for this procurement opportunity on the Fund's website. SOQs must be submitted in the prescribed format, using the link provided in the email received after registration. Paper or emailed copies will not be accepted. All inquiries regarding procurement must be directed to the specified contacts. Failure to adhere to this provision may result in disqualification under NYS Procurement Lobbying Act. There are contracting goals for SDVOB (6%), MBE (15%), and WBE (15%).
