The State University Construction Fund (SUCF) is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from consultants to provide design and construction administration services for the Demolish Mackin Complex project at the State University of New York at Oswego. The Mackin Complex, constructed in 1951, is a 103,700 GSF, three-story facility comprised of three connected buildings: Mackin Dining Hall (42,000 GSF), Lonis Hall (32,300 GSF), and Moreland Hall (29,400 GSF). These buildings are decommissioned or largely unused, with aging infrastructure and building systems at the end of their useful life. The project will demolish approximately 103,700 GSF of existing space and restore the site for greenspace or future use. Scope includes full demolition of structures, removal of foundations, and termination and capping of utility services (water, sewer, steam, electrical, communications, fire alarm, gas). Utility connections to adjacent buildings will be maintained or reestablished. The estimated construction value is approximately $8,297,000. Consultants are required to register for this procurement opportunity on the Fund's website.
