The project consists of the GENERAL TRADES, MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL, CONTROLS and other related work indicated in the Drawings and Specifications at 210 South Second Street, Rockwell, IA 50469. More detailed descriptions and approximate quantities of materials and types of construction for which bids will be received are set forth in the Bidding Documents prepared by SitelogIQ, Inc., available for public examination at the District's Office Building. All proposals shall be made on official proposal forms provided by the Architect/Engineer and must be enclosed in a separate sealed envelope, plainly identified and addressed to the West Fork Community School District. FAX and E-mail Bids will not be accepted. Each proposal must include a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check, or certified share draft in a separate sealed envelope marked "Bid Security," in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. All bidders shall provide a statement regarding the bidder's resident status on the Bidder Status Form designated by the Iowa Department of Labor Commissioner. Plans and specifications may be examined at the Administration office of the West Fork Community School District or accessed digitally or in paper form as outlined in the instructions. The board of Directors may review bids at its meeting on January 27, 2026, held at the district office at 210 South Second Street, Rockwell, IA 50469, and award bids at a later meeting date set by the Board.
