Site work and paving for a civil project in De Soto, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The Scope of Work includes construction of approximately 47 LF of 8-Inch diameter SDR 35 PVC, 40 LF 8-Inch Diameter Ductile Iron Pipe, 52 LF 8-Inch Diameter Welded Solid Steel Pipe with Fusion Bonded Epoxy Coating of gravity sewer with associated manhole construction and modification. Construction of new Concrete walls and anchor. Demolition of appropriate existing sanitary sewer main, asphalt pavement repair, site clearing, finish grading and seeding and other incidental items and work described in the Project Manual, or reasonably inferable therefrom. A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The City of De Soto anticipates issuing notice to proceed in January 2026. The owner intends to award the contract to the most Responsive, responsible bidder submitting the lowest bid. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and To waive any irregularities in the best interest of the owner. Bidders may request clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents by making a written request which shall reach the Owner at least seven (7) days prior to the date for receipt of bids.
