Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bidder's bond in favor of Monroeville Municipal Authority in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the proposal. This project is subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Workers must be paid not less than the prevailing minimum wages as established by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry, as shown on the applicable schedule. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. The Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in bids received. The work to be done under this Contract, as shown on the Contract Plans and Specifications, shall include the furnishing and complete installation of all materials and any other necessary work required for proper completion, operation and use of the facilities. All the equipment, materials and labor that may be necessary to complete the work and place it in satisfactory operation, implied or intended in the Plans and Specifications, shall be furnished and/or installed without extra cost to the OWNER. The titles or headings of the various divisions, sections, paragraphs, subparagraphs or of Drawings, and the Table of Contents and the indices, as used in any of the Contract Documents are for convenience of reference only and are not intended to limit and shall not be construed as in any way limiting the application of the text.
