The work consists of removal and replacement of AIX (Anion Exchange Resin) media of one existing AIX vessel at the Grove Pond Water Treatment Plant. All work must be substantially complete within 90 consecutive calendar days from the date fixed in the Notice to Proceed and fully completed within 120 consecutive calendar days from the date fixed in the Notice to Proceed. Sealed bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent of the Bid Total for Year 1, 2026. The successful bidder must furnish a fifty percent Payment Bond with a surety company acceptable to the Owner. Minimum wage rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Workforce Development apply to this project. The awarding of this item may be extended for an additional two years at the option of each individual Awarding Authority. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids if deemed to be in its best interest. Contractors are responsible for obtaining current information on Prevailing Wage Rates for all trades employed for the proposed work.
