City of oklahoma city has public improvement work that requires the professional services ofa consulting firm ("Consultant"). This on-call contract will include analysis, consultation services, and data report gcneration for the priority based monitoring project. North canadian river study, wet weather analytical monitoring, total maximum daily load monitoring, and other storm water quality projects. The city of oklahoma city will provide the selected laboratory all samples of ambient waters. Soils. Fish specimens, macroinvedebrate specimens and fish tissue for analysis or identification. The selected laboratory will provide the city of oklahoma city water quality analysis. Soil analysis, or fish llcsh analysis as prescribed in applicable project plans and taxonomic seruices by a qualified individual fbr aquatic macroinvertebrates and fish. All analytical and field collection methods must be as prescribed in oac 252.605- | -s(bx7) adopted and incorporated by reference 40 cfr part 136. Tlte selected laboratory must be accredited as a general water quality laboratory by the oklahoma department of environmental quality (oac 252.301-l-9). The selected laboratory must maintain this accreditation through the duration of the contract. Accreditation must, as a minimum standard, be in good standing and be maintained for basic environmental laboratory analytes and/or categorical groups: metals. General chemistry I and/or ii, nutrients, demands, microbiology, and pesticides- herbicides. Information developed will be used in evaluating biological resources, stream habitat conditior,s. Ambient water quality, best management practice efficiency. Permit compliance, pollutant load assessments and wet weather water quality. The laboratory is responsible for providing all field sarnple containers, laboratory work, laboratory materials, laboratory supplies,sample transpo(ation to laboratory, plant labor. Super.Rision, sample disposal and facilities as may be required and necessary to accomplish water monitoring report generation. More than one finn may be selected. The contracts will be for a five-year term. Letters of interest must provide your understanding of the project and scope of services; your approach and concept; designation of your project team and their detailed expertise and experience on similar projects, and accessibility to city staff. The consultant may not change the project team without prior consent of the city engineer. Letters of interest must be 50 pages or less. Please provide a contact name and email address in your letter of lnterest. The city may negotiate scope of work, compensation, and additional services. If the city or trust determines, in its sole discretion, the city or trust is not able to timely negotiate an acceptable scope of work, compensation, and additional services with the selected consultant, then the city or trust may terminate such negotiations and commence negotiation with another consultant. Upon receipt of a request review or copy records properly identified as "Confidential," Respondent will be notified of the request and allowed to immediately enforce and protect Respondent's rights by initiating an action in a court of competent jurisdiction. Should Respondent fail to bring an action to enforce Respondent's rights within seven (7) calendar days of notice, then the requested records will be released. The city and its l'rust reserve the right to award the contract(s) or not and to revise the scope of services and/or the project scope or description, as may be in the best interest ofthe city or trust. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. Request for Proposal for design services is underway.
