Reference Number 0000407455 Darlington County is soliciting unit prices for various types of stone, including Macadam base (crush and run), 57 Stone, Riprap, and Screens. The County conducts its hauling using County trucks. The contract will last for one year, commencing on the day the quotation is accepted, and includes an option for a second one-year period, subject to mutual agreement on renewal. The materials must comply with SCDOT standards and the following specifications. Silt and clay content must be less than 5%. Upon delivery or pickup, the moisture content must be less than the optimum value plus 2%, as determined by SC-T-140.
