This work shall consist of a surface course Type C composed of mineral aggregate and asphalt cement constructed over the existing pavement following section 403 of the SC DOT std. Specs approved by Darlington County. Placing approximately (2,053 square yards at 200 lbs. per square yard) Type C hotlaid asphalt cement over a stone base prepared by Darlington County. Placing approximately 400 LF of concrete curb and gutter at specified locations following section 720 of the SC DOT std. Specs approved by Darlington County. The parking lot located in front of the EOC will include parking spaces 20 ft in length, 9 ft in width, one line on each side, and two lines of parking in the center of the lot, three handicap spaces, including one being van accessible. The County of Darlington, South Carolina, is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to perform the tasks detailed in the scope of work for the parking facilities located at 1625 Harry Byrd Highway, Darlington, South Carolina. These facilities serve as a shared parking area for EMS, EOC, 911, the Magistrate's Office, and the Sheriff's Office. Option 1.
