Inspection, preventive maintenance, testing, and repair of automatic and fire-rated pedestrian door systems for the VA Northern California Health Care System. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, and transportation required to maintain automatic sliding and swinging doors, low- and high-energy operators, motion and presence sensors, access control systems, and fire-rated pedestrian doors. Services shall ensure all equipment operates safely, reliably, and in full compliance with NFPA 80, NFPA 101, California building and fire codes, and ANSI/BHMA A156.10 and A156.19. Quarterly preventive maintenance is required for all automatic doors, along with annual inspection and functional testing of fire-rated doors and automatic door openers. Unscheduled corrective repair services shall be provided upon request, including 24/7 emergency response within six hours and routine corrective response within four hours during business hours. Repairs requiring parts must be completed within 48 hours when parts are available. All replacement components must be OEM or approved equal. Technicians performing work must hold current AAADM certification or equivalent credentials. Service documentation, including detailed maintenance records and NFPA-compliant Fire Door Inspection Reports, must be submitted within 14 calendar days of service. Amendment 0002 extends the proposal deadline to March 12, 2026, and announces a forthcoming amendment that will provide consolidated RFI responses, an updated Price/Cost Schedule, and a revised Statement of Work modifying the door inventory.
