Project consists of roof replacement and roof coating on Mebane Hall Building. Bids will be received for a Single Prime Contract. All proposals shall be lump sum. Sealed proposals from licensed General Contractors will be received. Bidders' questions will be entertained in writing. Complete plans, specifications and contract documents may be obtained digitally from Terracon Consultants, Inc. Owner intends to bid Mebane Hall. The project consists of: 1) Roof membrane replacement and insulation upgrade; and 2) Built-in gutter coating. Project consists of roof replacement and roof coating on Mebane Hall Building. Mebane Hall, 8838 Craver Road, Charlotte, NC 28223 Work under the Base Bid generally includes the following: 1. Remove existing roof membrane, flashings and metal flashings and discard. Install new 5/8 inch gypsum board substrate, new 4.5 inch polyisocyanurate insulation, 1/2 inch coverboard, and PVC membrane, coping cap and all flashings and associated miscellaneous work as specified herein. 2. Existing system to remain for built-in gutter system. Coat existing system with a polyurethane coating system. 3. Facade repairs on the wall above Area R04 (West Elevation). . Work under the Add Alternate No. 1 generally includes repairs to existing skylight - Roof Area R14.
