The work includes site preparation, grading, loam and seed, landscaping at the site on Christian Hill Road, construction of a bituminous concrete driveway and parking area, stormwater swales and rip-rap outlet control, and installation of a pre-engineered metal building and foundation. The building will include person doors, overhead sectional door, insulated wall panels, security system, interior and exterior lighting, and electrical systems. Interior spaces will feature a partitioned bathroom and a room with double doors for equipment, along with a masonry wall that is insulated, heated, ventilated, with lighting and electrical. Equipment includes a duplex pump skid with controls, radio and antenna communications, pressure reducing valve and bypass, standby diesel generator with fenced enclosure and bollards, new electrical service, and telecommunication service to the building. Bid Alternates include, for Alternate No. 1, installation of approximately 630 linear feet of 8-inch water main with valves, hydrant assembly, and sample line; for Alternate No. 2, approximately 80 linear feet of 4-inch water main, valves, and a water truck fill station with piping, enclosure, concrete pad, and fencing. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, and the project duration is expected to be 420 days. Sub-bids are requested for the following subtrades: Painting, HVAC, and Electrical Work. Prospective General Bidders and Filed Sub-Bidders must submit with their bid a certificate of eligibility issued by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) for the relevant category of work, along with an updated statement summarizing their record since the last certificate. A bid deposit is required as per the Instructions to Bidders. All work is subject to minimum wage rates set by the Commissioner of Department of Workforce Development.
