Prospective bidders must be registered users of the web site to submit questions regarding the project. In order to receive consideration, questions must be received by Engineer at least five days prior to the date fixed for the opening of Bids. Installation of a UV disinfection system capable of achieving 4-log virus inactivation, associated piping and electrical modifications, vacuum priming system replacement and modifications, generator replacement, and fencing modifications. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. The project has an expected duration of 420 days. Bids from Subcontractors are requested for electrical work. Prospective General Bidders and Filed Sub-Bidders must submit with their Bid a certificate of eligibility issued by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM), showing approval to bid on projects of the applicable size and nature. They must also submit an updated statement summarizing their record for the period between the latest DCAMM certificate and the date of the Bid submittal. The DCAMM certificate of eligibility to be submitted by the General Bidder shall be for the category of work defined as "Pumping Stations". The DCAMM certificate of eligibility to be submitted by the Filed Sub-Bidders shall be for the category of work for which they are submitting a Bid. A bid deposit shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Workforce Development apply to this project. This project is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) requirements, with specific waivers applying.
